Bio: The Pittsburgh Courier's 1952 all-time Negro Leagues team listed Hill as the fourth-best outfielder behind Hall of Famers Oscar Charleston and Monte Irvin and fellow Hall of Fame candidate Cristobal Torriente. Hill was among the best hitters of the pre-1920 era, batting .400 twice and putting together a 27-game hit streak in 1910. He played until 1926.
