Alejandro Oms (1895-1946) • Birthplace: Santa Clara, Las Villas, Cuba • Status: Player • Bio: Nicknamed "El Caballero" (the Gentleman) for his demeanor on and off the field, Oms was a fast-running, far-ranging center fielder who starred in his native Cuba and in the U.S. Negro Leagues.
