• Bio: "Cum" Posey was a player, manager and, later, principal owner of the Homestead Grays, one of the powers of the Negro Leagues, from 1911-46. Through his tenure, 11 of the 18 current Negro Leagues Hall of Famers played for the Grays. His team won eight Negro National League pennants, including six consecutive, from 1937-45.
