Ray Brown (1908-65) - ELECTED

Bio: During a 15-season career, Brown used a variety of breaking pitches to compile the fifth-most victories in Negro Leagues history (105) and the second-best winning percentage (.704). He helped the Homestead Grays win eight Negro National League pennants in nine years (1937-45). He threw a perfect game against the Chicago American Giants in 1945 and a one-hitter in the Negro Leagues World Series in 1944 against the Birmingham Black Barons. Elected to the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame in 1998.
