Bio: Wilkinson was a driving force in Negro Leagues baseball for nearly five decades. He was principal owner of the Kansas City Monarchs from 1920-48 and founded that team's precursor, the barnstorming All Nations Club. Many of the greatest players of the Negro Leagues Era and before - including 10 Hall of Famers - played for the Monarchs at some point in their careers.
